Suffering from foot, ankle or heel pain?

Patient Testimonials

Danielle Rivera

Wonderful Dr! Helped our family and saved my grandma’s life from her foot wound, She ended up with gangrene. (She was 94 at the time) her age didn’t matter to him which was comforting and refreshing, She loved seeing him. Dr Menutti made sure she had the very best care while she was hospitalized. We’re forever grateful for this Dr.! Our family still continues to go for any needed treatments and in home treatments.

Podiatrist Jefferson Mennuti has a great bedside manner. I had to have a toenail completely removed and he made sure I was comfortable , explained the procedure and made sure I understood aftercare instructions perfectly. Also, he understands the importance of prevention and getting to the root cause to prevent the issue from happening again. Some solutions are hollistic which are great because I am not one that loves prescriptions when prevented. If you are looking for a podiatrist that truly cares and you are not just a numbered patient on his schedule see Jefferson Mennuti!

Dr. Mennuti was very informative and took time to look at my injury. I asked him questions and he followed through with great information to help me with my injury. Very personable and really wanting to help me. A doctor who really cares!

Dr. Mennuti is one of the most patient and understanding doctors I've met in awhile. He does not cast judgement, listens, and takes plenty of time to make sure he and you understand the problem and the solutions. Definitely recommend

Dr Mennuti is one of the best doctor's I have ever been to. Besides the feet, He knows a lot about medicine in general, along with being a very caring doctor and he's not one to throw you into surgery right away. Believe me when I say, look no further you won't be unhappy.

Dr. Mennuti treated my husband, John, for over a year to heal a deep foot wound. This required two hospitalizations and three grafts. We could not be more pleased with the concern he had for John personally, his open communication, and his professionalism! We continue to recommend Dr. Mennuti to anyone with a foot or ankle problem. His office Manager, Kiaria, also deserves praise for her superb handling of the complete administration of his office and fostering a welcome, friendly attitude to everyone. Amazing staff and Dr!!!!

Jim Schmitt

When I first met Dr. Mennuti at Fish Memorial Hospital's wound care center, I had a large 3" round wound that would not heal, as the area on my leg had been treated with radiation for malignant melanoma, and had been opened up as a result of a minor accident. As he explained, radiation is a "scorched earth" kind of treatment that kills tissue. In spite of the challenge, he was quite sure that he could get it to heal. Over the next 22 months, he used a number of cutting edge biologic regeneration treatments that actually left the wound area looking better than it did after the original melanoma surgery. Over the 22 months I found Dr. Mennuti and his staff to be extremely professional, caring, and very accommodating. I typically travel during the week for work and they were able to see me on Saturdays, which is almost unheard of these days! I really appreciated the wonderful care, his great sense of humor, and the encouragement that I received from Dr. Mennuti and will certainly be seeking his care in the future if needed.

I have had the distinct privilege of practicing in Volusia and Seminole county since March 2010. During that time, I have learned from my patients more than I ever could at school, college or the University. The textbooks were just the bricks and mortar.  The people and the community are  what created the elaborate highway of my practice.

Despite my extensive practice in limb salvage, I treat all lower extremity problems. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualifaction in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care, and I have had  robust education and extensive training not only in wound care and limb salvage, but all lower extremity problems. I have been trained not only top podiatrist, but general surgeons, vascular surgeons, orthopedic traumatologist, plastic surgeons, radiologists, pathologist and psychologist to name a few. If you have an issue with the lower extremity, come see me.

What you don’t know about me

When I am not in the office or hospital you are likely to find me on the tennis court, or riding my bicycle on the trails. I come from Florida - Tampa specifically. I have participated in two medical missions to Honduras. Both missions were aimed at surgically correcting club foot. Needy children from this part of the world are relied upon to fetch water, and do chores necessary for survival. This herculean task is only made more difficulty with a congenital deformity restricting the child’s ability to walk. One of the kids asked if he could play soccer after.

What to expect when you come in

I like to more personable with my patients. Yes, you will get some stale jokes, but it helps me understand you and your issues better. Also, remember, I spend basically my whole day interacting with patients. It makes the day more enjoyable being more personable.

What do I expect from you, the patient

Questions. Lots and lots of questions. Just because I am explaining something to you, does not mean you are getting the underlying meaning. Questions will help tune our understanding so we can accomplish your goals better.

Dr. Mennuti received his podiatric medical education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He went on with a 2 year residency training in a Harvard Medical School / Boston University School of Medicine affiliated program. He then completed an addition year of training at Norton Hospital, where most of his time was spent on orthopedic trauma.
